Fleet Sizes

Small Fleet: 2,500hp and under

Medium Fleet: 2,501hp – 5,000hp

Large Fleet:  Greater than 5,000hp  

All Contractors must register their fleet information by the dates below.

Large Fleet:  April 1, 2009

Medium Fleet:  June 1, 2009

Small Fleet:  August 1, 2009 

Fleet must start complying with the regulation on the dates below. 

Large Fleet:  March 15, 2010

Medium Fleet:  March 15, 2013

Small Fleet:  March 15, 2015  

Note:  Large and Medium Fleets must meet the requirements for both NOx and Particulate Matter (PM). Small Fleets will only have to meet the requirements for Particulate Matter (PM).
