980G and GII

General Purpose Buckets accept standard Caterpillar bolt-on cutting edges and base edges. They are also pre-drilled for the GET Corner Guard System. Several general purpose bucket combinations are available, ranging in yardage capacity and in combination with G.E.T , B.O.C.E that can be reversible bolt-on cutting edge and Modulok segments. The 980G Series II can be equipped with general purpose or rock buckets.

PETERSON's 980 G General Purpose Material Buckets may be configured for a variety of impact and abrasive conditions and is available with bolt-on cutting edge, bolt-on adapters or bolt-on adapters with segments.

They are also built with shell-tine construction. Tines reinforce the bucket floor from the hinge plates to the cutting edge, forming box sections that provide protection against impact and twisting forces.

Another key feature is Replaceable; weld-on and bolt-on wear plates to protect the bottom of the bucket. Our Straightedge bucket feature sidebar protectors, bolt-on edges with *TC (tungsten carbide) facing. These buckets feature additional wear protection items including: independently attached edge, additional liners and wear plates, one and two sets of sidebar protectors and a thicker 2" base edge with *TC (tungsten carbide).
