PETERSON'S V-DITCH BUCKET
Peterson custom built this V-ditch, 9-yd bucket for a customer's CAT 385 Excavator. The bucket is 13-ft wide, 9-ft high and weighs 12,000 lbs. Its V-shape was built to create a sloped ditch so workers would't get buried in case the ditch starts to collapse. The V-ditch bucket is 40% larger than any other bucket on the market. It is 145-in, at the top, 24-in. at the bottom with a 34 degree angle. The stick reaches out 58 feet with a quick-coupler.
This specialty bucket was first used at the old IBM campus demolition in San Jose in 2007
